Let
us get separate even in this World.
Since
he had completed his primary school, husband and wife were discussing about the
future of their son, who was their only heir. Almighty God had given to them
other children, but they didn’t live long. All of them had died very young,
without warming their parents with their caress. Even though, they were good
believers and didn’t say anything but: “To Allah w belong, and to Him is our
return”. Words that are to be said in occasions of misfortune.
Until
he finished primary school, Allah had given to their son all the best of this
life. What about now on? He was a trust upon them. A sweet and difficult trust
in the same time.
After
deep thinking and long conversation, they decided to enroll their son in a
madrasah (Islamic School). Happy life in this world and pleasure in hereafter
for all of them.
Rushit
was cleaver and goodhearted. Beside all of virtues, the virtue of feeling love
for the path of Allah stood above all others.
Every
lesson he learned he tried to practice it in daily life. He made every effort
that the lesson he took to be practiced in his family, neighborhood and all over
the world.
In
deed he was very young but his heart was big. He thought for and helped
everyone. His biggest wish was that every man had submitted them selves to the
commands of Him who created and nourished everything in the whole universe.
In
this way he passed his days in Madrasa.
He
eagerly waited the holydays to return home. This doesn’t mean that he spent
his time in vain, but there he advised his family and with the knowledge he had
assimilated during the week he tried to improve his family.
One
day, he learned that the Muslim women must cover themselves with scarf and long
dress and should not come out unless properly covered. This command wasn’t a
man’s wish but ordained by Allah, cited in the Holy Qur’an in Surah Nur,
verse 31 and Surah Ahzab, verse 59.
Rushit’s
heart became narrowed. Mother! – said to himself. No, he could wait until
weekend, so he returned home rushing.
Poor
mother! As every other mother he was frightened if something bad had happened to
him.
-
No, mother, don’t worry, -said Rushit. –Nothing bad has happened to me, but
I have come to tell you that I couldn’t sleep without telling you that how
much I love you.
-
Mother, I love you, - said the son with a melancholic voice.
-
I love you too, son – replied his mother that was eagerly waiting to hear what
Rushit will say.
-
Please, mother, try to understand me that I love you and I don’t wish you the
bad, - said the son.
-
Neither me, sweetheart, - replied Rushit’s mother whose voice had changed.
-
Listen mother, what is that didn’t let me to sleep from the day I heard it.
Allah ordains in the Holy Qur’an that women should cover themselves, and that
order should be practiced immediately. Please, mother, submit yourself to
Allah’s command.
-
O my son, what are you saying is true, but be patient, it isn’t an easy task.
You know, that none of my friends have submitted themselves to this command.
-
O mother, if you are ashamed of your friends, I am ashamed of Allah. The cover
is Farz (order) to you. Who doesn’t obey Allah’s command in this world will
be punished with fire in Hereafter. If you continue like this, for sure we will
be separated in the Day of Judgment. So, let us be separated even in this world!
– Rushit said these words to his mother with a shaking voice and left his home
without turning has head back.
-
Rushit, Rushit son, return, don’t rush! – cried the mother, but in vain
because Rushit didn’t return.
Weeks
passed. The third week passed too. Rushit didn’t return home. His mother
missed him so much so she could hold her tears. She realized her mistake and
that her son’s wish was Allah’s wish. She decided to submit herself to
Allah. Immediately, she rushed at her son’s school. She saw him and cried:
Rushit, Rushit, come to me my son!
Rushit
turned his head and saw his mother covered with scarf. Tears started to fall out
of his eyes from joy. He rushed to his mother and hugged her. He was crying and
couldn’t say anything but: Alhamdulil-lah, Alhamdulil-lah!
In
this way, Allah rejoined them in this world, so they can be together in
hereafter.
