The Servants' Duty

There was a poor man who worked for a piece of bread to keep himself alive. One day, he saw some people wearing fine clothes and riding horses. Amazedly asked:

 - These people, kings of whose countries are?
Those who heard him laughed to him and said:
- These people aren't kings, but they are the servants of Horasan's Sultan.
The poor man, waving his head, said:
- O my God! Have a look at this matter. I am Your servant, but I haven't the value of Sultan's servants.
Those words were an expression of non-satisfaction with Allah's decree.
After a little while, the Sultan of Horasan was thrown in prison. In the same way, his servants were imprisoned. They asked them for their Sultan's gold and treasure, where he had hidden them. Even thou they were tortured, they didn't say a word and they remained loyal to their Sultan. They gave their lives, but didn't discover the Sultan's treasure, since they didn't want to disregard the goods Sultan had done to them.
A person, who had heard about this happening, came to the poor man and said to him these words:
- O you poor man! Do you see what is the true slavery! You have the chance to learn from the Sultan's servants, that who should be a servant of Allah. Compare your servitude to their servitude. Don't ask from Allah what you don not deserve!
